Alex's favourite film. She sew 10 face masks for each of us to wear during the screening on Helens birthday at the Thornbury Picture House.
I was expecting The Room calibre of film. What with Alex, being Alex, and the way she spoke about The Fall.

I liked it. It was alot. But I enjoyed the theatrics.

I think I'll enjoy it more upon a second viewing, possibly at the Hatter's with Alex by my side.

    I love this film.
I talk about it constantly. The set, the script, the costumes and camp.
    Tim Curry is forever incredible.
It reminds me of the slapstick of Home Alone.

Dusty and I set up the projector, blow up matress and pillows on the deck. We at Laksa and Pizza. She loved it.

It's the cast. The cast is so fucking good. Bloody Lucy Davis and Dylan Moran and Jessica Hynes??? The ENTIRE cast is stellar. Forever and always an Edgar Wright stan.

I hate giving things a rating. Assigning stars. Deciding the worth of the thing I've watched because......IDK...right?
It's a romp. It's another really gr8 example of weird comedy British comedy. The sateric, forefinger-to-nose-pushing-upwards, poking fun at poking fun but it's sort of still what it's poking fun at??? It's just fun. It's not bound by wanting to be something it's not....it's not trying too hard....or pushing to meet expectations of producers and consumers.....
