There were so many interesting angles to explore the tragic fate of this exceptional artist... but it seemed more appealing to focus on a destructive relationship by completely twisting the reality, casting the film in a supermarket costume contest, using absurd time jumps and prudishness, and surrounding the singer with little angels who only wanted what was best for her... If you want to completely miss the genius of Amy Winehouse, rush to watch this lousy afternoon TV movie.
