I watched the director’s cut and did not like it as much. I thought the ending was more cathartic, and perhaps, if I’d seen the director’s cut first, I’d have liked it more. The additional scenes just seemed a bit out of place.

I liked this movie more than the typical rom-com. When Will turned Anna down, I audibly cheered not just because she was a cheater, but also because she was being such a bitch to our sweet lad; flip the genders and I suspect audiences would unanimously applaud this climactic rejection.
Although predictable, the ending gave me the sweet, sappy ending I needed. Still, I wonder: what’s stopping history from repeating itself? I’m looking at you, Anna. 😡
