a look into mental health struggles of depression and suicidal tendencies, to be continued
a realistic cultural artifact and vivid slice of life the portrays two black trans women living in LA, struggling to thrive and find community in a hostile world together. topics and themes of sex work, drug use, adultery, racial/sexual/gender discrimination and violence, finding community and fostering support networks, jealousy and adultery, and working class struggles.
a slow burn eeriness of repetitive tasks that start to blur together, the slow realization that everything you are working towards is slowly crumbling away before you- piece by piece by piece by piece by piece until all at once it is out of your control before you fully realize the gravity of the situation.
