Smile 2 2024
Sitting upright on my couch at 8am drinking a coffee, all the lights on, hands shaking, slowly typing “Smile 2, how scary?” Into google.
Lots of loud screaming and fist pounding sounds in this movie that my neighbour’s Yorkie was goin nuts for.
I put this on expecting it to be really bad but I actually loved it lol. The scene with the backup dancers stalking her through her apartment was bone chilling and so cool. A little too much blood for my taste but as far as horror movies go this is probably the max scariness I can handle on my own before losing sleep.

Roadkill 1989
One of the best, albeit heart wrenching screenings I’ve ever been to. The Revue Cinema’s community is so strong and caring and it’s so beautiful to see up close. There have been so many once in a lifetime events over the years that have only been made possible through the hard work and passion of its staff, programers and board members. This screening was no different with a Q&A afterwards featuring screenwriter Don McKellar and actors Valerie Buhagiar & Shaun Bowring…
