Lady Bird 2017
i first watched this movie way too young and now i’m a college freshman and it has a totally different effect om me. i’m being so honest i didn’t really like it when i first saw it so many years ago. but after watching it again i am completely sobbing realizing that lady bird is way more than a coming of age story.

it definitely was not giving what the original broadway musical was giving
they did cut some songs from the musical that i was okay with. but they also replaced the opening song that sucked so bad.
i still can’t get over the marketing for this movie though because it wasn’t advertised as a musical at all. so everyone is pissed that there is a mean girls “remake” when in reality it’s a movie adaptation of the musical.
