I have finally finished all six movies in the Scream franchise after starting in 2021. Was it worth it? I suppose so - now I'm not left wondering what awful stories I'm missing out on.
I'd say it was better than the third film - felt more like Scream with the whole film club storyline. However, I am sick of the angry family member trope!! It pains me now to think about how it continues into the future sequels after this.End note: The cut to Kirby when Charlie says you have to be gay to survive horror movies was diabolical, they CLOCKED her.

This was like the first two if you reheated them in a microwave. The same ingredients were there but the freshness was gone. The plot was average and so were the kills - where did the creativity and fun go? No TVs crushing people? No poles through heads? Booooringggg!!

I watched the original for the first time 24h before starting this remake. (Ended up taking three goes to finish this.) I hoped this movie would do at least SOMETHING better than the original (considering the almost 30 year technology difference and all) but wow.
