  i have so many (negative) opinions on this movie- so to start off, this movie is incredibly dangerous, problematic and just straight up bad. first off all, elio is being groomed. this is not a story of two people with a incredibly rare romantic bond, even though the film makers frame it to be. and to get this out of the way, I DO NOT CARE THAT THE AGE OF CONSENT IN ITALY IS 14, IT IS STILL PREDATORY. throughout…
