I thought it was an interesting story and I definitely felt pretty sad for her. I liked how they didn't really "tell" anything about her but you learn quite a lot about her life from a handful of poignant moments. Like how she learned russian because her grandma didn't speak english, how courageous she is in defense of her loved ones, and how she thinks of all men as either a rapist or gay.
