  I like some of the Sean Baker films.
  This is a fun film, i had some fun watching this. 
  But there is 0 emotional depth to this woman. 
  Don't get me wrong the main actress is talented, but I still don't know who Anora is. This portrayal isn't dehumanizing but it isn't really humanizing... you see what i mean?? 
  I know this film scored the palme d'or at Cannes but it's really just a white man aesthetizing sex work and…

  Initially i had a comment here thanking a friend for showing me the film and explaining that this was a great cinema lesson for me. DIY cinema but GREAT diy cinema. The performances are insane. There is a scene that is so brilliant in terms of editing with a bathtub and an argument!!! 

  However i ran into someone who saw the film after being on my letterboxd and i feel compelled to tell you friends, or sexy stranger, it's a sad film. 

  Still trop trop kiffer but careful mes amours
