  Everybody Wants Some!! 2016

  will always hold Dazed and Confused in a special place in my heart but of the 2 Linklater late 70’s/early 80’s- period-coming-of-age-films- i love Everybody Wants Some!! so much more. both great films, both films that make some people say “there was no plot” (to them i say, life is the plot, ok?) but Everybody Wants Some!! is infinitely more charming than Dazed and Confused could ever be no matter how many times i watch the latter.

  still not a huge fan of the movie. but i put it on so i can watch a movie and listen to good music and occasionally look over and see cool car scenes. so it has a purpose and it fulfills it well!

  this movie is never talked about but should be because it’s incredible, such a gem! funny, kind of wholesome, pretty violent, clever & just a whole lot of fun.
  jesse eisenberg is so good (lol as if he could ever be bad) and him & imogen poots are such a good duo (Vivarium babyyyy)! 

  will say that i always almost cry when he tells his dachshund he won’t be petting him anymore for his own good

  oh my god?? one of the most breathtaking, fantastical, absurd, bizarre, beautiful & creative movies i’ve ever seen?? the shot when she goes outside in Lisbon and looks up- i almost cried. design was on another fucking level, camera work is absolutely mesmerizing, and don’t even get me started on the story and the performances themselves- everyone did SO good

  actually believe this is a once in a lifetime movie
