Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie 2023
CW: Suicide
Went into this as a huge Monk fan expecting a silly, fan service film. I was not prepared for one of the central themes to be about suicidal indeation and planning. It was funny, touching, and handled the topics with care and thought.

Women Talking 2022
Outstanding. A beautiful, heart wrenching film that captures not only the plight of women and those most vulnerable, but the incomprehensible reality so many have to choose between their safety and leaving everything and everyone they have known behind.
This movie somehow ends on an optimistic note as the women look to journey into the unknown. After the movie, I sat in silence with my partner as we took in the sorrow and heaviness.
