From the perspective of someone who just wanted to understand the life events, of this larger than life man, in chronological order I'd say it was great. It felt really sincere. I'd really prefer those directional tricks weren't there though. I mean those scenes where many voices of Mike are speaking simultaneously, like we get it he got multiple voices in his head but just let me hear what he/they got to say, sounded like he was sayin something important. That was cheap.
