Was kinda nervous about watching a sexbot film directed and written by a man especially considering the Denis Villeneuve debacle but hey this did it pretty ok ! Wasn’t the most subtle or surprising film but considering my recent run of watching ‘good’ films with disappointing and eye roll worthy female characters and attempts at gender commentary i had a good time. At the end of the day it was a fun romp exploring abusive relationships and horrendous pet names and I hope Sophie Thatcher gets her flowers.

Big Trouble in Little China 1986
Curt Russel in tiny little jeans, that bit when he lifts that guys big hat to punch him in the face, the costumes, the practical effects, that dude punching that gun and it explodes, Gracie Law saying ‘its me Gracie Law,’ the evil demon and his slay blue acrylic nails. It just doesn’t get better than this!!!! Did I have any idea what was going on? NO!! Did I have the best time?? YES!!!!!
