Perfectly captures the tension, uncertainty, and utter joy of starting a band in high school. You can’t help but just absolutely adore these kids. Also just loved how it was shot! The little things happening in the background, the lingering stares to build anxiety and tension, the long shots that Wes Anderson definitely borrowed for his own movies—just excellent! Also Kei’s dream is legendary. What a delightful movie!!
