  i think timothee chalamet did a great job and i was surprised how accurate his singing was, he’s so cutesy. besides that and the basic bliss of hearing music i already liked, it was kinda mid. so much of it felt so fake, less of a story about someone who exists and more like a story somebody completely made up. a few lines felt very forced, like they wanted to do him justice so badly that they got a little too much in their heads. it just felt unnatural. but of course, the music was incredible, and casting was almost perfect.

  what do i even say… obviously im left with a huge void in my stomach at the end but i don’t think a third movie would work. i don’t need hundreds of tweens staring me down for an hour and a half before offing themselves in extensively more and more creative ways. overall, i wish i knew what was real and what wasn’t, more similar to the first movie. naomi scott did a great job and the close ups rly hooked me, but it was mid. 😛
