  this story is so true to womanhood and so beautifully painful in a way that perfectly describes becoming a woman. the funny moments were funny, the sad moments literally had me walking out with tear stains on my very pink shirt, and the pride of being a woman that i walked out with is unmatched. definitely a very campy film that some people may not completely understand, but so worth the watch

  this was truly heartbreaking, yet i love that there isn’t a completely happy ending to the story. the performances from every cast member are absolutely unbelievable in this film, the camerawork and style is gorgeous, and the fact that it is more drawn out in terms of pacing really brings out that element of slow emotional torture that ennis and jack experience for their 20 years.
