This movie was stunning! I can imagine that the poems/music hit even harder in the original language but even so these will stick with me. The movie was visually beautiful, and held care for its characters. I wasn't expecting such strong social commentary from the last third of the movie. It left the viewer with powerful questions: how to we treat artists (and humans!) when there is no financial or social capital to gain?
Absolutely wild script. I had to suspend my disbelief to get into this movie but I couldn't look away. There were some really cool shots in this movie that made me wonder why modern movies look so boring.
Veda is a great villain and Mildred is the feminist icon we need!!
I'm starting to think that Oppenheimers wife is an alcoholic....
This movie was neither scary nor campy but rather a secret third thing.
