Saltburn 2023
I thought the cinematography and colors were beautiful and unmatched. It hindered a little too close to the talented Mr Ripley. My biggest issue was the plot hole with Jacob elordi’s character. They kept saying “oh you’re like the last guy who was here” or talked about how he was territorial over his “toys”. But they never played into that, they just made Jacob seem like a nice empathetic guy with not much depth to him. I wish they would’ve developed his character a little more instead of constantly following Oliver’s obsession the whole time.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
It was honestly really well done. It was interesting because a lot of snow’s choices were so ambiguous. Sometimes it was hard to tell if he was doing things to be selfish or if he genuinely cared about Lucy Gray. My only issue was the pacing. The first half felt rushed while the second half felt dragged out.
