  What a heart breaking film. It reminded me of shutter island in a way, a poignant yet accurate depiction of dementia. Anthony Hopkins was superb, a well deserved Oscar, brining myself and everyone I know who watched this film to tears. ‘I want my mummy’ were the words that really sent me into a crying fit - no exaggeration. This film explores the cyclical nature of life- and the dependency we have on others as we get older which can be a very unsettling thing to admit.
