first film of 2025 and i sobbed. there is such realism within the script and timeline progression - there is such subtly real humour sprinkled in among deep sadness and the confliction that arises when put in a life changing situation. i loved it SO MUCH!!!!!!! never going to recover pls

Beautiful Boy 2018
possibly the most chilling film i have ever watched in my life. steve carells acting is honestly the greatest thing to bless this movie and with timothee, they’ve possibly created the most harrowingly complex film of the 2010’s. the exploration of addiction, sickly nostalgia and longing for something that is so distant & unattainable is heartbreaking, but also incredibly enlightening and therefore a must watch!!!!!!! for everyone!!!!!!
