The story would have been much more interesting told from the perspective of the Osage woman. The fact that her entire family is murdered and the main focus is still on our moronic Ernest is a lost opportunity.
They try to make him sympathetic by being stupid but every decision he makes is hurting the woman he supposedly loves and no one is that stupid, he is just plain evil.Translated from by
