  rewatching this i like to remind myself that a lot of manic pixie blah blah stems from this movie, this is one of the OGs and therefore i'd like to hope (or at least pretend?) that this movie is self aware. we should watch this and know tom is being ridiculous, right?? right? yeah. but anyway if someone looks at me like jgl looks at zooey i'll die on the spot
