  "With great power, comes great responsibility."

  Having watched this film for a second time, I come to appreciate the "common man" that is Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man more and more. He gained his powers not by destiny like Andrew Garfield, or through Iron Man's genius like Tom Holland; it was by chance. I think that detail surrounding Spider-Man's origin story makes him resonate more with the public. Anyone could have become Spider-Man if they were in the right place at the right time!
