I don’t even know why I did this to myself but somehow the story (to me) was even dumber than Megalopolis which deserves some praise I guess.
I think the worst crime (apart from how offensive this was) is that none of the songs were catchy at all.
Zoe Saldaña’s Oscar for best supporting role that is actually the leading role was deserved though - I couldn’t have done this without her.

The tragedy of this movie is that there‘s just no way of making dystopian garbage man „leaders“ so stupid and ridiculous that you think „yeah that‘s completely over the top“. No, that‘s just real life in 2025 - the thing that feels ridiculous is these people being held accountable for their actions…
Other than that: wish they‘d been braver with the Rob Pattinson selfcest but otherwise really fun movie.
