Rewatched this an absurd amount of times. Genuinely one of the best shows I've ever seen. The costume design and production are insane. The way all the characters are written, even the most unimportant ones is so rare and so appreciated by me. The newspaper editor's wife that appeared in 2?3? scenes had more personality than most female leads in cdramas. I can not recommend this show enough. It has everything I love: gay soulmates, interesting female characters, tragic siblings, obsession with art, friendship, anti-fascism, what else is there

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
It has amazing cinematography, but the story itself... The beginning was so good that I was bracing myself for some fun horror, instead it fell flat and ended up being very "meh". There was so little happening and I spent quit a lot of time wondering why they don't show anything. Some parts came off so pretentious that I was left speechless.
Then again, some portion of my opinion might be "not a story about me so I don't get it" thing.
I did like the ending.
Still, a bit disappointed, because so many people were praising this and I watched it with huge expectations.Translated from by -
