  And why did I cry :( 
  This movie was really healing though, seeing queer people being so outspoken, before gay marriage was even legalized. A whole decade later and we’re still having the same issues, but I hope real societal changes happen that will eradicate these surgeries. 
  I’m happy that nowadays these surgeries seem to be dying down.

  There’s something about the overuse of music in this move that is really getting to me, like the mood switches so much depending on the music they use. It just doesn’t feel real. 

  This is kind of making me want to read the books. Because I feel like the books prob convey the cringe of the movies in a better way. 

  (Also I’m empathizing with Peter, which is something that should’ve happened in movie 1 IMO)
