The Normal Heart 2014
Heart-breaking story of the first HIV/AIDS epidemic in the early 80s, when the disease was widely acknowledged as "gay cancer". Loved every character, especially Matt Bomer, who defied his gorgeous looks and delivered an amazing performance. I was also impressed by Taylor Kitsch's closeted homosexual Marine, his outbreaks were absolutely brilliant. I wish there was another edgier and more daring director than Ryan Murphy to deal with such a delicate issue and turn this movie into a masterpiece.
