The set was extremely refreshing, to live in a land without CGI. The marketing alone for this movie was a once a decade event, and it did not disappoint in the theater. We both laughed (at Ken) and cried (for Ken). The movie’s only misstep was not earning the mother-daughter bonding and some pacing issues in the second half. The existential dread and fast wit made up for it, for the most part.

The Gray Man 2022
Honestly did we need this addition to the sigma movie collection already out there? Ryan Gosling is missing his usual soft center that made movies like Drive so captivating, and Chris Evans, while providing comic relief, is an exceptionally flat antagonist.

I honestly just adore this movie. From its magical realism to its sense of humor, its characters and cinematography, it is extraordinarily masterful.
