This movie is a flaming pile of shit. I don't care how gorgeous the animation is. This isn't a "feminist movie about sexual liberation". This is a perverted attempt at romanticising sexual, domestic and psychological abuse thinly disguised under a veil of pastel watercolours.
And “pretty animation” doesn’t change the substance of the film which lacks any sort of subtlety or tact and its failure to address serious issues with sensitivity…
