I love movies.
My ratings typically represent my enjoyment
Uh, everything's under control. Situation normal.
Voice: What happened?
Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
Voice: We're sending a squad up.
Uh, uh... negative, negative. We had a reactor leak here now. Give us a few minutes to lock it down. Large leak, very dangerous.
Voice: Who is this? What's your operating number?
Uh...

So so so so so many thoughts. My goodness. Lord Almighty. Jesus Christ.
Let's fucking go dude.
First off, I get the criticisms. I was planning on giving it 3 1/2 stars, with my own plethora of criticisms and nitpicks. The first 3/4 of this movie is just like any other sci fi action horror. But with a key few differences.
1. Cailee Spaeny is just unbelievable
2. It's easily the highest quality production…
This is an epic. A masterfully crafted film that pulls no punches and leaves no stone unturned in a retelling of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Robert Eggers delivers the gothic horror vibes that I eagerly signed up for. And I will never tire of atmospheric shots of Dracula's castle in the Transylvanian mountains, as a haunted carriage approaches in haste.
The 4K Blu-Ray will be a must have.
