  Another "Netflix recommends" watch...note to self: stop watching films that Netflix recommends. It's a continuous loop of bad movies.

  Standout moment: Father President ditches Katie Holmes on the d-floor in the midst of a presidential party so that the disgraced bodyguard/aka katie's ex-boyfriend/aka she really had only just met him/ could take over the dance. (His opening line was "give me your left hand" in the most terrifying voice you can imagine. I would have run).

  When I searched this it came up on a ‘Movies I wish I could forget I tried watching’ list on Letterboxd. I watched it anyway. Really really bad. Desperately bad. The main girl sounds like Melanie Lynskey in Ever After (Ever After is the shit but drew and Melanie’s accents are shiiiiiit). The movie had a really weak plot (felt like it was written as a high school English assignment) and was just suuuuper boring. Even by Hallmark standards. Wouldn’t recommend. But it is a movie about filming a movie that already exists. If you’re into that sort of thing.
