hmm, the movie itself had really good cinematography, but the main characters were so flawed that i was just sitting there facepalming. i think what people should get out of this movie is that you shouldn't throw away relationships in your life in order to become "one of the greats." if you sit through this whole movie and say, "wow he did the right thing by driving himself to madness in order to succeed," maybe you should re-evaluate what the movie is actually depicting. if a man ever says this is his favorite movie, run.
