Absolutely killer premise (pun fully intended) and genuine laugh out loud moments. But just missed the mark with handling every story with grace. At times it felt a bit too insensitive/out right offensive, but I can see what the film was trying to do. Still a pretty solid film

Caught this at CINEQUEST festival and it was just so much fun. The world starts beautifully small and then just grows and grows and grows into a wild and wacky adventure

Tbh I feel odd giving any stars/5. Well made and performances that knocked it out of the park. But I can't quite put my finger on an emptyness to the film... Muddled comentry on the civil rights which just gave some context to Dylan's writing, then just kind of lost me as to why I was watching this artist move through life. Terrible attempt to put my finger on it, but something just wasn't there... 3 stars because yes, a film was made and made well. I couldn't access the heart... Soz x

God I love a film that just throws you in and commits hard.

Leaning closer to a 3.75/5, only because at points it started to feel repetitive. But!! I will absolutely watch this film again. Fucken excellent craft, acting and film making dancing together beautifully. But, need a re-watch to settle my restlessness around a feeling of repetition.
