  honestly holds up well. a PERFECT time capsule of a rural Idahoan town in 2004 that never left the 90s. the intro with all of the meals and snacks spelling out the credits is just so good. the talent show dance sequence might be one of the best things ever. the ending song with the shot of him and deb playing tetherball.. the soundtrack in general! the wood paneling, shag carpet, dingy but warm and comforting aesthetic of the 70s…
