Easy Money 1983
This can easily be made better by cutting out some filler.... the viewer doesn’t even know the plot until halfway through the film. There’s some parts that seem like they could be a plot point but end up meaning nothing??? Love me some Joe Pesci but this still left me very unsatisfied
Also, was I the only one that thought Pesci was the groom??? Now THAT would’ve been 5 star worthy.

This movie had so much potential.... but it ended up turning into 4 different movies - the product being a long, muddled mess. Coming of age, a young love story, military action film, the ugly aftermath of war, the horrible reality of addiction, and EVEN MORE beyond that I won’t spoil. I loved most of it excluding some cliches here and there, but by the end I just wanted it over. Also, I’d recommend to just stop watching at the epilogue... just pointless.

Affleck balances the challenging role of being a cold Scott Peterson impressionist while battling the insurmountable challenges of being a husband to the sociopathic Amy Dunne. Even including the familiar “Nancy Grace” bit, this film serves to be a “what if” scenario as an “alternative” of the tragic events that occurred in the Peterson family in the early 2000’s. This is a great film for true crime enthusiasts, and RIP Laci. Ben Affleck killed this role.
