  I have never seen a movie that I hated more than this. Completely devoid of any sympathy and von Trier glorifies completely repugnant characters in a weak attempt to shock people and make them uncomfortable. The fact that he actually had extras with Down syndrome interact with the characters pretending to be so-called "idiots" was absolutely disgusting. All I can say is absolutely do not watch this movie if you have even a shred of respect for people with disabilities because clearly von Trier does not.

  Absolutely the most well-crafted animated movie of all time. The love that the animators put into its production (character design, backgrounds, all of it) and the research put into every aspect of the movie is incredible, not to mention how the crew consulted religious experts from all three Abrahamic religions to make sure it was accurate and respectful to each religion. And the historical research... Just wow. The soundtrack is equally incredible, I just can't sing my praises enough when it comes to this movie (the art history and art major really jumped out in this review)
