Grave of the Fireflies 1988
“Why do fireflies have to die so soon?”
The very first film that I truly fell in love with. Never thought that a film could ever make me feel so much heartache until I watched this.
This is my fourth time watching Grave of the Fireflies and it just never fails to make me cry. (Honestly, this time around was probably the most that I’ve cried while watching it.) If there is any film that you should watch at least once in your life, it is this one. So heartbreaking, yet so beautiful as well. It will always remain as one of my favorites.

I love Cheryl Ladd, so I loved her in this film as well. I don’t know why, but I…

“Look! They stand up!”
My 69th film of the year and it’s…kinda wholesome?
It was more like a mix between a Hong Kong travel video and a coming of age film, with a side of softcore porn. I enjoyed taking a nice look at the streets of Hong Kong in the 70s and the bits of humor, maybe even more than all the raunchy stuff! Everything just looks nice. Love the music too.
Still, there are a few places where…
