i kind of went in blind with this one. i didn't have any prior knowledge about this film, but it was amazing. i found the start a bit confusing, but it proceeded to wrap all the loose endings together by the second hour mark.
a father, a samurai, who loses everyone he cares about decides to show off his skills and then kill 4 people and then himself.
"may your heart be at peace"(very thankful for movieguy daniel who found this with english subtitles 🙏🙏🙏)

a twisted piece of cinematography that is so well made that it amazes you. this film is really unique and i dont think that i have wrapped my head completely around it yet. it disturbed me greatly, but it is an amazing adaptation of james dickeys novel. this is definitely a must-watch for thriller fans.
respect for ronny cox for actually dislocating his shoulder for that scene.
