The Dawn 2023
I’m getting Neptune Frost, but this short film is great in it’s own right.
imo some minor adjustments to the rythm could have benefitted the tension arc, and the pills xmetaphor was quite straightforward but that didn’t overshadow the film’s many achievements: strong photography (the frame of the three kids 💙), recognizable characters, credible dialogue, a spiritual message, good music, black power!
And all this in half an hour!
