  absolutely loved the form and the execution. wasn't sure how i felt about the characters and their actions. what got me confused at first glance: for an idealist boy who thinks love and tenderness to be the center of the world, he doesn’t seem very much loving and tender. for a film presumably revolving around sex, it doesn’t seem very much passionate or sensual.

  but it shouldn't be; i got it wrong, it's not about love or sex. it still…

  i don't know why the hell i expected a movie with a cast and budget like this to be a complex commentary or a fresh perspective on society and gender. it's meta, we get it, but i still couldn't positively decide if it's fully aware of its cheesy corporate feminism or not. if it's shallow on purpose - amazing, camp, slay! but sometimes it felt like it takes itself and its 2017-buzzfeed-level-wokeness seriously, and i have a problem with that…
