Having read the Novella by Burroughs, I didn’t think I‘d enjoy the movie, since there were several issues i had with the source material. However Luca Guadagnino’s and Justin Kuritzke‘s Adaptation really brought out the strong points of the story, while expanding on the surrealist nature of Burroughs later writing that didn’t really exist in Queer, the Novella.
