  2. Looks like product placement didn’t pay off. I see you Nokia. 
  3. The cloverfield paradox doesn’t make sense with this as the source material. I think they could have gone a different direction with the whole ‘opening portals and monsters invading from another dimension’ bit. It makes me like the prequel less. In paradox they have advanced technology, there’s an oil/energy crises, the world is at the brink of war. Meanwhile the main character…

  Dear Marley,

  This movie was decent for having no expectations. That said, I wouldn’t consider this a horror movie but rather a mystery with science fiction components. I’d watch a sequel if it was more slasher oriented.
