An absolute masterclass in building a reality where you’re not sure what’s actually true. Some stellar performances and a gorgeous film to watch. Really interested in digging into more of Triet’s works after this.

There is a scene in this movie where the shark living in Lake Tahoe bites off the leg of a lady parasailing and she continues parasailing with blood spewing all over the lake. And they never mention it again.
Anyway I need literally everyone to watch this movie. You’ll spend the whole time thinking it was made in like 2003 and be very shocked when you learn it came out in 2015. The acting is not good. The plot is bananas. The cgi is so bad. It was amazing
