The Room Next Door 2024
Aesthetically pleasing, but was greatly disappointed by wooden dialogues, inconsistent story, boring gender stereotyping, a collection of cliches. I was convinced this is a satire and was waiting for a clever twist that never happened. This film reduces the complex and acute topic of assisted dying and the right to choose ones own death to a shockingly shallow tale, ignoring all relevant socio-economc circumstances.
