This movie is trying to cover so much - the change to talkies, the introduction of the Hayes Code, early stardom. But it confuses these topics in its delivery. The music, the vibes they are strong but the movie is long, grotesque, and unclear.
I can in now way say this is a good movie. Although I did see it two separate times in cinemas and had the best experience both times. It is SO bad that it is SO good!
