  It’s wild the same guy who directed this also directed Battle Royale. Absolutely love the atomic 60s vibe, all the miniatures and the goofy creature effects. I need to watch more Kinji Fukasaku now. I know Arrow Video has a bunch of his stuff.

  If Casino Royale is the Batman Begins of Bond then Skyfall is undoubtedly The Dark Knight of the series.  Sam Mendes is able to slow down the pace while still bringing everything we love about Bond. Javier Bardem is one of the best villain actors of our time between this and No Country for Old Men. The home alone-esque final showdown at Bond’s childhood home is beautiful in every way. One more before No Time to Die and my body is ready.
