  Simple yet so good, Sally Hawkins is extraordinary for her role as a mute. Genuinely how she managed to express emtotions without speaking a word throughout the movie is incredible. Yet we could always understand her. The story line is different and the use of lightning in the scenes truly brings back the old vibes and the nostalgia. 
  The amount of macho comments snd scenes selected specifically for michael shannon sent me it was just hilarious.

  For context I watched this at 2am, trust when I’m telling you I felt every emotion. Gut wretching love story about life. Everything about it is just perfection.
  The first part of the movie traumatized us, gave us a backstory into someone’s life, strong emotions intertwined with hatred and love.   Bong joon ho has done it again, from the music to the cinematography. How he manages to capture every single emotion, even while laying under that table the expressions of the father were so strong.
