Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire 2023
I almost wanna like this movie for the childlike ambition of squeezing a few dozen sci fi tropes into a poorly thought out star wars knockoff, but it really just feels like im watching a 57 year old libertarian smash together action figures for just over 2 hours, half of which was in slow motion.
I had to google his age for this review and it shocked me, since his work really gives me the vibe that he grew up on CoD4 montages and Halo 3 machinima but never stopped thinking it was the coolest shit ever.
