  This is probably my favorite of Wes Anderson’s. It’s so melancholy but tender and nostalgic. When you’re a child you don’t realize your parents are also growing up…they are learning and feeling too. Family dynamics are so interesting and it’s cool to see them play out here.

  Pain and pleasure is so fascinating and the idea of what happens when pain becomes bliss — it’s so fascinating and I think this movie explores that well. That fine line between danger and true damage is so fine but there’s a lightness to this film I enjoy, it’s a balancing act on a tight wire.
